Ryan Lutz, LCSW (Oregon)

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based out of Portland, OR dedicated to supporting others in finding meaning, developing an authentic sense of self, and overcoming barriers on the road to leading healthy, fulfilling lives. My background as an individual and family therapist as well as a mobile crisis responder has given me the opportunity to work with a diverse cohort of clients across ages and identities. 

I specialize in supporting teens and young adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, confused, or disillusioned as they navigate challenges related to social relationships, finding direction in education or employment, and developing independence. Additionally, I have experience supporting family members as they practice setting boundaries, accessing community support, and nurturing autonomy. I bring warmth, creativity, compassion, and humor to sessions with the goal of developing practical skills for addressing the here and now while also fostering a richer understanding of how our stories inspire resilience and direction. 

I am available for online therapy statewide in Oregon, as well as nature, home visit, and activity-based sessions for those located in the Portland area. I offer both individual and family support. During a free, initial consultation we will have an opportunity to discuss your goals in coming to therapy and I can provide a more in-depth picture of what it would look like to work together so that you can decide if this is a good fit.
