Britt Goh, LCSW (California)

I work from a framework of gentle self study. Understanding motivations, patterns, urges, ways of coping, and eventually coming to a place where—you make sense to you.

From there, everything else can flow, including: communication skills, healthier relationships, compassion towards self and others, more adaptive coping skills, cognitive flexibility and resilience, mood and symptom management.

While I treat all along the spectrum of everyday anxieties to depressive lows, I've dedicated my career to understanding and tending to grief, relational stress, perfectionism, complex trauma, attachment styles, intimacy and relationship to body and sex, as well as workplace burnout and existentialism.

I like to balance curiosity and humor with directness—building a space that makes room for the hard things, hard truths, and the willingness to entertain change, slowly but surely.

I work within individual and group settings (romantic, friendship, and family dyads) and keep my practice purposefully small—seeing a maximum of 20 clients per week. This allows me to show up fully present to each and every session, commit to any collateral work, and for those weeks where you just need extra time, you can easily book it.
